Meta has announced revised per-message pricing for WhatsApp Business API, effective January 1, 2026. The updated pricing for India is: Marketing messages: ₹1.09 per message · Utility messages: ₹0.145 per message · Authentication messages: ₹0.145 per message. Service messages continue to remain free within the 24-hour customer service window. These changes are automatically reflected on the Whatapi platform.

A messaging session window starts when a user sends your WhatsApp Business Number a message and lasts for 24 hours from the most recently received message. You can intervene/respond with ANY kind of message within these 24 hours. Utility templates delivered within the 24-hour window won't be charged.
All billings on Whatapi are Pre-paid. You recharge your account before sending messages, giving you full control over your spend. We accept UPI, Net Banking, debit/credit cards, and NEFT all billed in INR with GST invoices.
You can import Unlimited Contacts to the Whatapi dashboard on all plans. You're only charged for the WhatsApp template messages you send not for storing contacts. There's no per-contact fee.

Upgrades and Downgrades work on a pro-rata basis. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll only pay the difference for the remaining days. If you downgrade, the unused amount is credited to your Whatapi wallet for future use. No lock-in periods.
WhatsApp Conversation Credits are needed to send template messages to your customers. You get ₹50 worth of WCC when you sign up on Whatapi enough to test with up to 9 users in one broadcast. To send messages to more people, you must recharge your WCC balance. A minimum of ₹10 is required to keep chatbots & automation working.
