Customer Service Window

When a user sends you a message, a 24-hour support window begins. Each new message from the user resets this window. During this window, you can respond freely without additional charges and respond with any free form messages. Also, utility templates delivered within this window won't be charged.

Unlimited Free Service Messages

Each business using Whatapi receives Unlimited FREE service messages. Businesses can reply to user messages without incurring any charges; it's completely FREE.

Marketing Messages

Marketing messages include all promotional messages, offers, and product updates. Each marketing message delivered costs ₹1.09/message (for Indian users)

Utility Messages

Utility messages are transactional in nature and include messages for delivery updates, transaction receipts, reminders and more. Each utility message delivered costs ₹0.145/message (for Indian users). Utility templates delivered within a customer service window won't be charged.

Authentication Messages

Authentication messages include messages used for verification purposes such as OTP, account registration and account recovery. Each authentication template message delivered costs ₹0.145/message (for Indian users)

Service Messages

Service messages includes all user-initiated messages related to customer support, Chatbot support & queries asked by users. Service conversations are FREE for all businesses using Whatapi.

The updated pricing for India is: Marketing messages: ₹1.09 per message · Utility messages: ₹0.145 per message · Authentication messages: ₹0.145 per message. Service messages continue to remain free within the 24-hour customer service window. These changes are automatically reflected on the Whatapi platform.

WhatsApp has shifted from per-conversation to per-template message pricing. Now, you'll pay only for each template message sent giving you clearer control over messaging costs. You only pay for what you send, not for the entire conversation window.

Unlimited Users means there is no limit on the number of Monthly Active Users (MAUs) you can connect with in a month. Be it a thousand users, hundred thousand users, or a million users you can connect with as many users as you want! You'll just need to pay for the WhatsApp Conversation Charges per template message sent.

Yes, WhatsApp Conversation Credits are recharged and managed separately. Every time you send a template message, the price of that template message is deducted from this recharge. This price varies according to the user's country. For Indian users, you'll be charged ₹1.09/Marketing template & ₹0.145 for Utility/Authentication templates.

A messaging session window starts when a user sends your WhatsApp Business Number a message and lasts for 24 hours from the most recently received message. You can intervene/respond with ANY kind of message within these 24 hours. Utility templates delivered within the 24-hour window won't be charged.

All billings on Whatapi are Pre-paid. You recharge your account before sending messages, giving you full control over your spend. We accept UPI, Net Banking, debit/credit cards, and NEFT all billed in INR with GST invoices.

You can import Unlimited Contacts to the Whatapi dashboard on all plans. You're only charged for the WhatsApp template messages you send not for storing contacts. There's no per-contact fee.

No. Whatapi doesn't charge a single penny to procure the WhatsApp Business API for your brand/business. Businesses can procure the API completely free through Whatapi, including the Blue Tick verification application at no extra cost.

Upgrades and Downgrades work on a pro-rata basis. If you upgrade mid-cycle, you'll only pay the difference for the remaining days. If you downgrade, the unused amount is credited to your Whatapi wallet for future use. No lock-in periods.

WhatsApp Conversation Credits are needed to send template messages to your customers. You get ₹50 worth of WCC when you sign up on Whatapi enough to test with up to 9 users in one broadcast. To send messages to more people, you must recharge your WCC balance. A minimum of ₹10 is required to keep chatbots & automation working.
